A question to propose increasing the existing property tax rate for educational purposes from .92% to 1.17% is on the April 4, 2023 ballot in Aviston School District #21.  

The new funding will be used for: 

• Hiring additional teachers and support staff
• Reducing class sizes
• Updating and enhancing curriculum

A town hall meeting will be held March 22, 2023 at 7 pm in the cafeteria to share information about the referendum and to answer questions.
