I began teaching in 2009 at Centralia Jr. High School.  I taught 7th and 8th grade math there for 9 years before moving on to AGS!  I have a passion for learning and hope to pass that love on to my students.

I am married to Chris, and we have three daughters Averi , Kenli , and Layni.  All three girls attend AGS as well! My husband and I both grew up in Centralia, and both attended Centralia High School.  I went on to get my Associates from Kaskaskia College, half of a business degree from SIUE (so glad I changed my mind!), Bachelors in Elementary Education from Greenville University, and a Masters in Educational Administration from McKendree University.  We are happy to now be residents of Aviston, and are excited to raise our girls here!

Between work and my three active children, I do not have a ton of time for hobbies throughout the school year.  However, on the weekends and during the summer, I enjoy to travel, read, play sports, and just spend time with my family.
